The ATV tour to Perolniyoc Waterfall is a unique experience that blends adventure, nature, and culture in a single trip. You’ll ride an ATV through stunning Andean landscapes, passing traditional communities until reaching one of the most mystical and lesser-known spots in the Sacred Valley: the majestic Perolniyoc waterfall.
This tour is perfect for those seeking to escape the typical tourist routes and enjoy an authentic connection with nature, while still feeling the thrill of riding through the Andes. In addition to the waterfall, you’ll also have the chance to visit the archaeological site of Raqaypata, located above the falls and surrounded by a serene, historic atmosphere.
📅 Itinerary
We start early with hotel pickup in Cusco between 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. Then, we travel by tourist transport for about 1.5 hours to Pachar, located in the Sacred Valley between Ollantaytambo and Urubamba. Here, you’ll receive a safety briefing and a short practice session with the ATVs.
The adventure begins as we ride up rural trails surrounded by farmlands, mountains, and small Andean villages. After about 45 minutes of ATV riding, we reach the starting point of the hike to Perolniyoc Waterfall.
We’ll take a moderate 30-minute hike to the base of the waterfall, where you can rest, take photos, and enjoy the energy of this special place. If time permits, we’ll continue up to the archaeological site of Raqaypata, offering an impressive panoramic view of the valley and the cascading water.
After the visit, we return on foot to the ATVs, ride back to the starting point, and then take the transport back to Cusco, arriving around 2:00 p.m.
