This full-day adventure combines two exciting activities in a single itinerary: Stand Up Paddle (SUP) on the serene Vilcanota River and a thrilling ATV ride to the stunning Perolniyoc Waterfalls, located in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. It’s the perfect choice for travelers looking to blend sports, nature, adrenaline, and culture all in one day.
You’ll start with a relaxing paddle boarding session on calm waters surrounded by breathtaking Andean landscapes. Then, switch gears and hop on your own ATV for an epic ride to one of Cusco’s hidden treasures: the impressive Perolniyoc Waterfalls, where you’ll also have time to hike and explore an ancient Inca archaeological site.
📅 Itinerary
07:00 – 07:30 a.m.: Hotel pickup in Cusco and transfer by tourist transport to the town of Calca, in the Sacred Valley.
Upon arrival, you’ll receive a technical and safety briefing before starting the Paddle Boarding session on a calm stretch of the Vilcanota River. This activity lasts about 1.5 hours and is perfect for beginners.
Next, we head to the community of Pachar, near Ollantaytambo, where your ATVs will be ready. After a short instruction, we begin our route toward the Perolniyoc Waterfalls, passing through rural landscapes, mountains, and vibrant local culture.
Upon arrival, we take a short hike to the viewpoint and the falls, where you can take photos, relax, and enjoy the surroundings. We will also visit the small archaeological site located above the waterfall.
We return by ATV to Pachar and head to Ollantaytambo for lunch at a local restaurant.
Finally, we return to Cusco, arriving around 6:00 p.m.
