The 5-day Salkantay Trek is one of the best alternative routes to the Inca Trail, highly recommended for its natural and archaeological richness. Along the way, you’ll pass by majestic snow-capped mountains, deep valleys, tropical forests, and traditional villages. You’ll cross the impressive Salkantay Pass (4,630 m / 15,190 ft), visit the stunning Humantay Lagoon, and walk through breathtaking transition landscapes from the Andes to the jungle.
This trek is perfect for adventurous travelers seeking a complete experience without the limited access of the traditional Inca Trail. The tour ends with a visit to Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, reached after five days of connecting with nature and Inca histor
